Climate Education Nexus

In 2020, the ATO - ClimatEducate Project implemented a new phase for its climate education initiatives. This was done through the support of the Climate Reality Project Australia and the Pacific and the Lord Mayor's Charitable Foundation. The project implemented the Climate Education Nexus, which aimed to mobilize local communities to take climate action through three major initiatives.

PROJECT OBJECTIVES

  • To deliver at least 16 Non-Online Initiatives with our country networks;
  • To develop the Integrated Climate Change Action Learning Platform (ICCALP) and improve the community's understanding of climate change;
  • To establish and sustain a ClimatEducate Educators Network;
  • To identify, mentor and enable ongoing climate leadership by local community ambassadors (CE Educator’s Network);
  • To connect and strengthen the collaboration among the Climate Reality community.

ClimaTEducate Educator’s Network
