Situação da Floresta Amazônica

A desmatamento da Floresta Amazônica é um dos principais problemas ambientais  do mundo, em função de sua grande importância para o meio ambiente. Este desmatamento causa extinção de espécies vegetais e animais, trazendo danos irreparáveis para o ecossistema da região. De acordo com dados (estimados) divulgados em novembro de 2012 pelo Ministério do Meio Ambiente, o desmatamento na Amazônia diminuiu entre agosto de 2011 e julho de 2012. Neste período, foram desmatados 4.656 km² de floresta. Foi o menor índice de desmatamento desde 1988 e representou uma redução de 27% em relação ao período anterior.

​A tragédia ocorreu no dia 05 de novembro de 2015 deixando a população não só de Minas Gerais, mas de todo o Brasil abalada. O desastre foi causado pelo rompimento da barragem (Fundão) pertencente à mineradora Samarco, e esta localizada no município de Mariana- MG. A Samarco é apenas mais uma dos milhares que existem atualmente na terra. A mineração, desde sua descoberta promove diversas formas de poluição, sendo que boa parte dos problemas causados podem ser resolvidos facilmente com planejamentos sustentáveis e devida fiscalização nas instalações.

In just over two centuries, there has been an exponential increase in the exploration of resources that the Earth has to offer and, in a very small period compared to the history of the planet. A large part of these resources have been extinct or are close to this stage.

Hun Heang is a 30-year-old farmer in Kang Meas District, Kampong Cham Province in Cambodia. Together with his wife, they take care of their old folks while also raising their two daughters aged 8 and 4 years.
 
Since he was 7 years old, Hun Heang had been helping his parents in the farm after school and has never left the village. His 6 siblings migrated to urban areas and none of them would like to stay in village anymore.
