Infographic by the ATO-ClimatEducate Project Committee for Graphics, Design & Creatives (CGDC) For 25 years since the Rio Summit, the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), has become an important platform for countries to take environmental issues as part of their respective national policies in which its goal is to "stabilize greenhouse gas concentrations in the atmosphere at a level that would prevent dangerous anthropogenic interference with the climate system." Both developing and developed countries played part in this two-decade process. The Kyoto Protocol (1997) and the Paris Agreement (2015) has been landmark international agreements but more action is needed. Take a look as our Graphic Designers compiled the history of these processes.
